Jesus took our shame, guilt and inferiority and replaced it with His righteousness, position and power before God. Protect your self-esteem, because it will surely be tested and bruised. Preserve your value, for the empty crowd will try to trample it under the boots of their insecurities. Find your health and wholeness by enjoying the New Creation life of Christ that He has invited you to enjoy with Him!
Our New Creation life holds no more uncertainty about our future, or of any repercussions from our past. We live in the NOW, allowing GOD to work in us and transform us into the image of Christ. “And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image” (2 Cor 3:18 NLT).
You’ll never rise above the view you have of yourself. That little movie screen in your mind that keeps showing your mistakes and weaknesses of the past has to go, because that’s NOT who you are anymore! When you were born again and became a New Creation IN CHRIST, the old you in Adam ceased to be, and Jesus came to live in you with all His power and ability. Start finding yourself in the scriptures, then stand up and be who you really are!
We declare salvation as a free gift, but it wasn’t really free. It came at a great price and cost God His best! His Son Jesus paid that price and it was NOT cheap. When you understand the magnitude of that price, it should forever settle the question of your value to God!
Maybe your teachers labeled or cursed you, or maybe your friends and family did. Joseph’s brothers cursed him, in fact they dropped him down a well to die! They wanted to get rid of him, but it didn’t matter what they thought, because God had another plan. Stay inspired and in faith, trusting that just as God had good plans in store for Joseph, He has good plans for your life as well!
Every time a leader in this world tries to play the role of God, it ends up in defeat. True greatness is NOT achieved by reducing other people to servitude, but in giving of yourself in selfless service to others!
Your healing is already paid for! Jesus bore your sicknesses and carried your pains, and by His stripes you ARE healed (Isaiah 53:5; 1Peter 2:24). The work has ALREADY been done for you. The price has ALREADY been paid. And when the revelation and understanding of this truth becomes stronger and more real to us than the symptoms trying to defy it, we will walk in not just healing, but divine health!
The disciples didn’t really understand what was happening as Jesus hung on the cross. There, Christ took our sin and gave us HIS life in return! We became God’s righteousness on earth—the habitation of His Holy Spirit! We are enabled and empowered to act as Christ in the earth, because He now lives IN us. The disciples saw a man, but God saw humanity!
Jesus paid every penalty and removed every judgement that was against us. He was wounded and crushed for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace. By the stripes He received on the whipping post, we were healed! “The Lord has taken away the judgments against you; He has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; you shall never again fear evil.” (Zephaniah 3:15)
When you were born again, you instantly became holy and blameless in God’s sight, because He sees you in Christ! In God’s eyes, your past is removed and your sins are forgotten as if they never happened. You have been released from all condemnation and shame, because Jesus bore it all for you. Don’t take anything back from the devil that Jesus paid with His life to remove!
