Why would Jesus Christ die on the cross and take my sin if He didn’t have a plan for my success? Everybody should be planning for success, because the One who lives in you by His Spirit has defeated your enemy!
In Jeremiah 29:11 God says that He has plans to prosper you. He has planned for your health and your future. There is a destiny that is before you. Expect it! Plan for it! Dream it! Say it! Believe it and it will unfold before you!
A ship that remains tied to the dock will eventually be overrun with barnacles and dry rot, a plane that sits idle in the hangar will grow brittle, moldy and its engine will cease to function, and a person without a purpose greater than themselves will weaken in resolve and retire in heart. We must not shrink from the opportunities before us!
What will you do with the gifts of God you have been given? Dedication to the Lord is that step where we devote ourselves to both the will and the way of God. Remember, talent is cheap but dedication is costly!
The most influential voice in your life is the one on the inside of you. It either tells you that you can do great things in life, or it says that you’re in one way or another a victim of circumstance. It speaks whatever has been fed into your life, which is why it’s so important to feed on God’s Word!
Those things that have limited you in your body, your background or your relationships may have made you believe that your future is limited. But I want to let you know that if Jesus is your Lord, your future has NO LIMITS!
The highest method of learning, and the least expensive, is to learn from others. The lowest method is personal experience. It will always cost you time and opportunity. One industrialist said, “It’s a shame that people learn from their own mistakes rather than from others. By the time they learn the lessons to be productive, it’s time to retire.”
Don’t blame God, life, circumstances, economy, family, neighborhood, the past or anything else for the life you are experiencing right now. The truth is, whatever you have sown, you will reap. The good news is, if you don’t like where you are right now, you can use that truth to turn things around!
Are you still asking God to do what He told us to do? Or have you stepped over into the joy and adventure of obedience by partnering with Him and doing what He has instructed YOU to do?
Life can be an exciting adventure or a daily grind. Where do you find yourself? Don’t let age rob you of your dreams. Don’t let yesterday limit your tomorrow. Don’t let mediocrity kill your potential! Rediscover your youth!
