In the face of storms, Jesus spoke peace and all became calm. In the face of taxes, He said to go fishing and gold was found. In the face of lack, He spoke blessing over bread and multiplication occurred. In the face of devils, He spoke a word and they were cast out. In the face of corrupt governments, He remained steady while they trembled in His presence. We are called to walk in His likeness!
You can overcome the fear of rejection and saying the wrong thing (or the right thing wrong) when you remember that favor isn’t always a result of performance. Regardless of your speaking abilities, or lack thereof, God can give you influence and anoint your words to be powerful and effective to your hearers!
Never forget that the miraculous seed of God put into a person by hearing and agreeing with words spoken by God in His Word is as powerful today in YOUR life as it was in Mary’s life, when she heard the word from an angel and agreed to let it be as it was spoken to her!
There is nothing that controls your personal life more than what you believe. Your feelings are the fruit of your thoughts. If you are feeling stuck in life, or are having negative feelings and emotions in an area, ask yourself what you have been believing about those things. Why? Because if our thoughts aren’t agreeing with what God says about it, we are believing a lie. God’s Word brings life!
What picture are you forming your beliefs around—the picture of your past, or the picture of what God says about your possibilities and potential? Don’t allow your past experiences to determine what you believe. Instead, allow God’s Word to transform your mind and heart, and amazing experiences will follow!
All the promises of God are ‘yes’ and ‘amen’ (2 Corinthians 1:20). I walk in the promises of God. That means I walk with a “YES” in life. I walk with a positive expectation. “Yes, Lord, You promised to heal me – Yes! You promised to provide for me – Yes! You promised to guide me – Yes! You promised me favor wherever I go- Yes!”
Let’s allow ourselves to dream and recognize that God does not limit us. Yes, He directs us and empowers us to fulfill His will and each one of us has a destiny. BUT NEVER ALLOW the misguided, judgmental statements of people around you to restrict you from being all that you can be!
It is amazing to think that we are no longer pawns in the hands of fate. We are no longer driven by winds of circumstance, people whims, or popular propaganda. We are at the fate of our own words. Jesus has voted YES for us. While we were sinners, He laid down His life and took the penalty of sin in our place. The devil has voted against us, and WE are casting the deciding vote by the words that are continually coming out of our mouths!
What is the world looking for? The world wants some hope. The world wants some dignity. They say, ”Recognize me! Believe in me! I am important! I am valuable to somebody!” Well, I have good news for the world—God loves and values you and believes you are important—so important that He has an amazing plan for your life!
Sense knowledge is not absolute truth, our senses are simply interpreters of what is happening in the natural. The Word of God has already issued judgment on the curse and everything that comes from it—sickness, lack, oppression, depression and the negativity that tries to steal our joy in life. Our commitment must be to believe what God says instead of what our senses are telling us. Stop accepting those deliveries from the devil!
