If we don’t learn to see through the eyes of our faith we will only see our need. Faith doesn’t look at the need, faith looks at the seed of God’s Word as the supply for every situation!
In the days we’re currently living in, it’s vitally important to understand that Satan has NO power! The only so-called power he has is what we relinquish to him when we believe his lies over the Word of the Living God!
The disturbances and confusion of the world is not a call to a monastic life, but rather a call to a higher thought life. Our victory is not found in fleeing the pressures of a secular world, but in keeping our thoughts in line with God’s thoughts in the midst of Satan’s bombardment.
When you start comparing sicknesses saying, “Well, that’s just a runny nose, but THIS is cancer!” what you’re really saying is that Christ’s sacrifice wasn’t powerful enough to overcome ALL sickness and disease. Stop looking through your natural eyes and look through the eyes of faith! It is the same GRACE that covers us all!
The most influential voice in your life is the one on the inside of you. It either tells you that you can do great things in life, or it says that you’re in one way or another a victim of circumstance. It speaks whatever has been fed into your life, which is why it’s so important to feed on God’s Word!
It’s easy to forget the source of your water when all you see is the pipe. The key to a constant flow of healing is a focus on the presence of Jesus the Healer!
Changing your location has nothing to do with your prosperity. It’s possible to be poor in a wealthy society, and it’s also possible to prosper in a poor society. You can prosper in the midst of adverse conditions where everyone else is failing, just as Isaac did when he obeyed the Lord! “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous” (Genesis 26:12-13).
Faith is BELIEVING when all apparent indicators tell you that things are not possible! Faith is KNOWING that regardless of what your body or your circumstances may be screaming at you, GOD has a different verdict for your situation!
Scripture says we are to “love others as we love ourselves” (Mark 12:33 author’s paraphrase). Maybe the reason some people treat others so harshly is because that’s how they feel about themselves. They don’t see themselves as good enough or worthy enough, so to them no one else is either. When we comprehend the gospel we see that God loves us! He loved us so much that He gave His own Son to die for us!
Regardless of how uncertain things may appear looking into the year ahead, it is imperative that we stay strong in the face of adversity, and KNOW THAT THE GOODNESS OF GOD RESTS UPON US! Now more than ever, take the time to grow in intimacy with Him through His Word and prayer, and experience both His love for you and His reassuring hand upon you. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
