The devil tries to tell people that money is the root of all evil and that it’s better for you if you don’t have it—otherwise you’ll become proud and fall into sin (1 Timothy 6:10). But notice, the Bible does NOT say that money is evil, it says the LOVE of money is the root problem. It’s our attitude towards money that is the issue!
So many voices in the current events we face today are shouting, “It’s too hard! You don’t have what it takes! You’re not going to make it!” At that moment when things are hard—when you feel like you will fail and you want to quit—lock down on the Word of God and do NOT give up. EVER!
Never let someone else tell you who you are! Just as Jesus found Himself in the scriptures, you can find yourself in the scriptures too. And when you do, you will discover who you are and who you are called to be!
If God’s Word says that we are more than conquerors through Christ, then we are. We are not going to become, we already are. We may be experiencing some failures or setbacks in life right now, but only good will come out of our situations because God says that “in all these things we are more than conquerors” (Romans 8:37). We have the victory!
When we know who Jesus is, we know who we are. And when we know who we are, we know what we can do. This is why mountains, obstacles, troubles, and anything else that keeps us from being the best that God made us to be can be removed when we speak!
We are not designed to continually handle hard struggles, difficulty, shame, lack, stress, and failures. Jesus said, “Come unto me and I will give you rest for your souls.” He also said His yoke is easy and His burden light (Matt. 11:28–30). If you’ve allowed the troubles and uncertainty of the times to pile greater and greater loads of care upon you, it’s time to come back to Jesus and make an exchange. “…Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (1Peter 5:7).
Faith is a force that operates apart from the reality of our circumstances. Your present reality may be saying you are out of money, you are sick, you are unemployed, your children are lost—but faith operates in the reality of what GOD says about the situation!
Whatever needs you face today, you’re not facing them alone! Jesus said He will be with you always. The two of you together are an inseparable, supernatural team with unseen resources that the world does not have!
Changing your location has nothing to do with your prosperity. It’s possible to be poor in a wealthy society, and it’s also possible to prosper in a poor society. You can prosper in the midst of adverse conditions where everyone else is failing, just as Isaac did when he obeyed the Lord! “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous” (Genesis 26:12-13).
Those things that have limited you in your body, your background or your relationships may have made you believe that your future is limited. But I want to let you know that if Jesus is your Lord, your future has NO LIMITS!
