Jesus is still performing the miracles that He did 2,000 years ago on the shore of the Galilee through faithful believers like you and me. And, both then and now, Jesus is NOT intimidated by demons, sickness, sin, lack, or even death! He was, and continues to be, a Master over every circumstance, bringing victory into every situation!
Jesus said in John 6:35, “I am the bread of life, and whoever comes to me will never hunger, and the one who believes on me will never thirst.” Have you pulled up to the table today and taken hold of the promises that God has for you?
The scriptures tell us in Ephesians 1:3 that there is another source for all that we need on earth, and it is found in the spirit realm. It’s not sitting up there in heaven waiting for you to get there, it is in your born again spirit, waiting for you to claim here on earth!
Scripture tells us in the book of Hebrews that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. What does that mean for you? That means that if 2,000 years ago He healed, He forgave sin, He died for one person—then throughout all of time and eternity this same Jesus died for you, forgave you, loves you, lives to give you life, and came back from the dead so you could experience all that He has for you!
What difficulties are you facing today? Difficult times require strong faith, and difficult times produce champions! I think of Noah who built an ark when no one understood rain or recognized the flood ahead of them. We can build an ark through our prayers and communion with God. When all things seem difficult, remember our heroes of faith!
Jesus’ sinless life given for us, His blood shed for our sins, His body broken that our bodies might be restored, His death in poverty that we might find the riches of eternal life—take some time to remember all that Christ has done for you in his death, burial and resurrection!
Jesus paid the price for our sin and sickness and disease on the cross. So it’s not, “I’m GOING to be healed,” but rather, “I am ALREADY healed! Not because I feel healed or look healed, but because the Word of God is absolutely true and more powerful than however I may feel or look!”
Jesus said that if He did not do the works of His Father, then not to believe in Him (John 10:37). That is strong language that must be backed up by the supernatural hand of God. But you too can boldly say the same thing, because as the Father was with Jesus, now Jesus is with you (1John 4:17). The mission that our Father sent Jesus on is the same mission that Jesus has sent you on!
When Jairus’ daughter died while Jesus was delayed, Jairus was told by Jesus to “only believe,” that his daughter will live. Death may be final, but NOTHING is “too late” when Jesus is with you! Keeping control of our emotions is important. I believe Jesus was saying to Jairus: “Just stay open to your miracle. Do not shut down. I am bigger than any bad report!”
Regardless of how uncertain things may appear around you, it is vital that you stay strong in the face of adversity, and know that the goodness of God rests upon you! Now more than ever, take the time to grow in intimacy with Him through His Word and prayer, and experience both His love for you and His reassuring hand upon you.
