We should never be skeptical of realizing the great promises we see in God’s Word, but must respond to them with a YES, even if we haven’t seen them happen yet. We’re not trying to be confident in our own ability, but rather in HIS ability to move and work through us!

You are made in the image and likeness of God. What type of life does that produce? It’s a life full of adventure and expectation of new things every day. The resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s fearless and enthusiastic, greeting God with a childlike, “What’s next, Papa?”

Jesus has removed the judgements against us and has cleared away our enemies (Zeph. 3:15). Now our mission is to cooperate with Him in transforming us, by changing our old man thinking habits into new creation thinking! This is how we begin to live this new life He has purchased for us, and actively walk as agents of the authority we’ve been given!

Jesus doesn’t reign in some political system or church denomination, He is reigning in you and me! If you are born again, His peace, righteousness and joy are now a part of your life. There may be darkness all around you, but you are light because the light giver has His home within you. There may be curses all around you but you are blessed! There may be bondage all around you but you are free!

If you are born again in Christ, the ministry of healing is your job. It’s not an option, a movement, a special anointing, a gift of the Holy Spirit or a “special calling” for certain special saints. It is our JOB—a responsibility, an employment, assignment, profession, task, work—our duty. We are to look at healing with the expectation that we are doing our job when we speak, and Jesus is doing His job to bring healing to the hurting, because He paid for it!

As you begin this week, remember the wonderful things that God has done for you. Every one of us who are born again have “super” living in our natural! The supernatural is Christ indwelling our natural flesh, making ALL things possible!

Salvation means so much more than being heaven bound and saved from eternal judgment. Yes, salvation is deliverance from sin—but that deliverance doesn’t stop there! It brings with it healing for our bodies, peace for our minds, joy in our soul, and the confident awareness that we are loved, protected and cared for beyond any human ability. This is New Creation living!

When you allow Christ to transform your life through His Word, you’ll start to experientially know what it means to abide in Him and Him in you. You’ll begin to demonstrate the life a new creation is meant to live in the earth, and the world will come running to know what you have!

If you are a follower of Christ, then you have His life in you and everything included with it. You have His model of supernatural life, His expectation of answered prayer, His righteous stand before God without shame, guilt, or sin, His heart for lost humanity, His call to give away His free life to others, His victory over the devil, sickness, inferiority and lack. Anything of the curse, you have dominion over!

Because you have the Spirit of God in you—you’re in Christ and He’s in you—you are now the light of the world. You have the dominion and are called to decree the gospel of the kingdom—what Jesus accomplished—and are to speak it so captives are set free, and people are healed and made whole!
