God’s intention as displayed in Jesus is to reunite us in perfect harmony, where our hearts beat as one with His heart, and our bodies resonant with healing.
Miracles come to us as a demonstration that it is God’s will to do good and not to do evil, to be a blessing and not to harm, to give life and not to curse. God is with us, He is for us and not against us!
Sickness and disease are the precursor to death, and all are a result of sin. When we see a miracle in operation, once again we see God initiating good. Anything you can do sick you can certainly do better healthy. His miracles are confirmation to us that He restores life!
Right now you and I can embrace the perspective that says NO giant of sickness and disease, NO giant that comes against the living God can exist in the presence of the One Who lives in us, Who believes in us, and Who goes about doing good and healing all who are oppressed of the devil!
Jesus came down from heaven as the express image of our heavenly Father, taking Him out of the shadows and revealing Him as the healer of humanity.
With the advent of Jesus’ life, miracles became the foundation upon which everyday life was to be built. No longer were miracles to be a mystery or strange phenomenon, but they were to be front and center on the table of life!
Moses sent twelve men to spy out the land. Ten of the spies saw themselves as mere grasshoppers in the sight of the giants that lived in the land. Two of the spies had a different perspective. They saw the giants through God’s eyes and they said, “these giants are bread for us!” (Numbers 14:9 KJV) What is your perspective on healing? Has healing become a giant in your life?
In Exodus 23:25, God revealed Himself as the Healer. He said to His children, “and you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and He will bless your water and He will take sickness out of the midst of you.” God’s promise is to bless our table with healing. As Psalm 23:5 says, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.” In the presence of our enemy sickness and disease, we can sit down and partake of the bread of life!
Even in the worst-case scenario when you find yourself apart from God, apart from promise, and apart from hope, you can still find what you need. God has designated healing as a basic part of His covenant with humanity.
Jesus is alive! He does not speak from the grave, but He has risen in the hearts of His people. Without miracles Christianity becomes just another religion!
