The day you hear and receive Jesus as your Lord, life takes on a wonderful, new meaning! You discover that you are unique—deeply loved and of great value—and He lovingly works with you and in you to discover that uniqueness. As you enter this brand-new year, realize what a privilege life in Christ really is—each day an adventure, each breath a privilege!
“Lord Jesus, I see you upon that cross, crucified for me. My sicknesses, diseases and every infirmity were upon You on that cross. Therefore, right now I receive my new body and my recreated spirit. I receive a sound mind and every part and system of my body made completely whole. I reach out, Lord, and I take what belongs to me. I declare that by the stripes of Jesus I was healed 2,000 years ago, and because it was done for me then, I am healed NOW! I thank you Father God and I receive it in the name of Jesus!”
It’s an exciting time of year—a time of decorations, baking, lights, and of course, Christmas gifts! There is another very special aspect of this season—it’s when the angels said, “Unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord…Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, and good will toward men!” The greatest miracle gift of all is Jesus. May He be at the very center of your Christmas!
If Jesus lives in you, you have a miracle inside you! All His purpose and power is now able to grow and develop in you. This gives special meaning when we celebrate His birth at Christmas! “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).
Why would Jesus Christ die on a cross and take my sin if He didn’t have a plan for my success? Everyone should be planning for success, because the One who lives in you by His Spirit defeated your enemy! “The Lord has taken away the judgments against you; he has cleared away your enemies” (Zephaniah 3:15).
In Psalm 23 we discover that Jehovah Rohi, God our Shepherd, leads us beside the still waters and causes us to lie down in green pastures, because He is our GOOD shepherd and is always with us and guiding us. He delights in doing us good! (Jeremiah 32:41)
Faith is what allows us to see and be confident and happy about the answer to our prayers when we pray. We’re not waiting for a physical manifestation to be confident. We enjoy what we believe as if we had the things we believe for now in our possession!
“Father God, today is my day! I see my enemy defeated, decapitated and openly paraded. Father, Your army, Your Son, the host of angels, have defeated my enemy and I believe Your Word. Today I expect that the strength of Your healing power, Your promises, Your grace, Your love, Your might and your deliverance is being extended to me. Today I receive my healing and my deliverance! I say in the name of Jesus, I am free and I am made whole!”
The power in the Word of God is the same power that God used when He spoke this world into existence! When we speak it, it is the power of God in our mouths and it changes everything around us and in us!
Sickness tries to bring sorrow, circumstances try to weaken your spirit. But an overflowing, abundant fruit of the Spirit who lives within you is joy! It’s an attitude that brings confidence in what God has already done for us. Never overlook or underestimate the attitude of joy and its value in your life!
