You have the power in your mouth through the great confession of your Christianity! It says that God is alive, Jesus is your healer, ALL things are possible, and what people see now is not the reality of where they will see you later on!
Each of us possess the power of choice to determine our future. We might feel controlled right now by other people, physical pain, or economic conditions, but our future is still in our mouths. As Paul said, “We, having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak” (2 Cor. 4:13).
It’s important to understand that there are no limitations or boundaries drawn where God “categorizes” a sickness as being simple or difficult. The power of God is present to heal now, and that healing power covers EVERY type of sickness and disease!
Many people, including some preachers, say that God is in control and whatever happens is His will. But does a farmer reap what God sows? What kind of crop will the farmer get if he takes the year off and just tells God he will take whatever crop God produces? No, the farmer reaps what he himself sows. If this principle is true for the farmer, isn’t it true for us also?
The Word of God is more important than a newspaper or magazine, more important than a movie, our social media accounts or any other book we may want to read. God’s Word is the first and most important thing we should be focusing on!
Don’t waste your precious gift of speech by declaring that you’re in agreement with evil, failure, depression, sickness, or fear. Regardless of how bad circumstances may look in the natural, you don’t need to go along with them, because you know and believe that you have a source that cannot be touched by man!
Each of us are alive for a period of time on this earth, but it does NOT have to be a life controlled by germs and viruses and filled with sickness and disease. It can be a life of victory, where we are living the abundant life of health and healing and peace that God has provided for us!
The scenarios we create with our words can either draw favor, blessings, goodwill, love, healing, finances, and trust to us…or they can draw anger, hate, fear, anxiety, and death into our lives. Regardless of whether you choose to believe in it or not, life and death truly is in the power of your tongue (Proverbs 18:21).
Jesus went about destroying all of the works of the devil, and has made us a royal priesthood, a new creation! Jesus has now given US authority over the devil…the only power he has is whatever we hand over to him.
It doesn’t matter how bad your past is. You might say your sins are as dark as mud, but even a glass of mud will become drinkable if you keep pouring clean, fresh water into it. A field of weeds will produce wheat if you start putting new seeds into the soil!
