What the World is Waiting to Hear

What is the world looking for? The world wants some hope. The world wants some dignity. They say, ”Recognize me! Believe in me! I am important! I am valuable to somebody!” Well, I have good news for the world—God loves and values you and believes you are important—so important that He has an amazing plan for your life!

Dead-Raising Power

Romans 8:11 tells us that the power of the Holy Spirit that dwells in our own spirits as believers was sufficient to raise Christ from the dead! Meditate on that truth, and make the conscious decision to allow that power to move into every part of your physical body with the life of God that overcomes every sickness and disease!

God is a GOOD DAD!

Matthew 7:11 says, If you then being evil know how to give goods unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good gifts to them that ask Him?” Not only is God NOT using sickness, disease and lack as a tool to make us learn something, He clearly tells us that He has a great desire to answer our prayers and to meet our needs!

Do You Have Your Father’s Eyes?

If we would get God’s perspective on people then we could win the world. Without God’s perspective we look at people through eyes of judgement. We like to hold the books and keep records of who is a sinner and who is a saint. But how much did God pay for those sinners? The price of His Son Jesus! How much did He pay for the saints? The same! God places no difference in worth between the mafia boss and the evangelist. They are both called by God, one just doesn’t realize it. When we truly understand this, we will be motivated to tell them!

Whose Report Are You Believing?

Until we are willing to give the kind of time and attention to God’s Word that produces change in our thinking, we’ll continue to be swayed by our feelings and the things we see and hear. All the devil heard from the lips of Jesus when tempting Him was “It is written,” and he was powerless against Him. Whose report are you going to believe, the devil’s lies or the report of the Lord?

More Than a Day of the Week

The religious leaders in Jesus’ day had turned the Sabbath into a tyrant and a burden on God’s people, with harsh rules and requirements that were nearly impossible to successfully follow. Jesus repeatedly healed on the Sabbath to show the Father’s true heart (the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath, Mark 2:27) —a time where we rest in the perfection of God’s work and receive it as a gift. Healing, deliverance, abundance and every GOOD thing. The Sabbath was manifest through a person, showing us that it is more than just a day of the week!

Your Reflection is Perfection

The Bible is a mirror, not a book of rules. When you look in a mirror you say, “This is who I am.” When you look at a book of rules you say, “This is who I’m supposed to be.” As you speak out the truth of God’s work in you and His promises to you from His Word, you’re rehearsing what is in the mirror and are being transformed. Your thinking is being changed from the old nature habits of thinking to a life that reflects the truth of who God has created you to be!

This is Watt You’ve Got

The same Holy Spirit, with the same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead, also indwells you as a believer. What does that mean for you? It means the very light and life of God resides in you—giving His life to your spirit, soul and your body too (Romans 8:11). It means there is no longer anything in you that belongs to the devil. (Colossians 1:13) It means all the authority and power that Jesus walked in on the earth now dwells in you to do the works that He did (John 14:12). What is your part? Enter into the rest of faith and receive it all as a gift of His grace to you. Stay connected to the power source, and you’ll be a walking light bulb everywhere you go!

Choose Joy

Jesus said that we will have trouble in this world, but to stay happy! Why? How? He overcame everything that could keep you down, sick, weak, or poor! If you’re born again He lives within you, giving you the strength and wisdom you need to overcome in any situation. “I have told you these things, so that IN ME you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33 emphasis mine).

Divine Accounting

“Reconcile” in the Greek is an accounting term meaning to balance or say the same thing. For us to be reconciled to God, Jesus had to give us His place—His inheritance, His power, His peace, the life of God—everything that He had. This is why we can say along with the Apostle Paul, “it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me”! (Galatians 2:20)
