The Word is Your Key!

Unfortunately, this world is imperfect and there are many diseases, but God has given us protection from all of them. We can compare it with the door of our house—we lock the doors so that no stranger can get in. Similarly, we need to learn how to use the Word of God to resist all diseases and infirmities and walk in divine health. And if an illness comes knocking in our house, we can shut the door and lock it securely.

The Helmet of Salvation

Put on the helmet of salvation. Surround your mind with the thoughts of salvation. Words have power over our thoughts—speak the words of salvation!

Speak It and Believe It

The Gospel is peace, wear it on your feet! Speak it aloud! Think about it! Pick up the shield of faith and believe that God will fulfill what He has promised!

Put Me in Remembrance

“I, even I, am he that blots out your transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember your sins. Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare you, that you may be justified” (Isaiah 43:25-26). In other words, God says, “Remind Me. Come to Me. Let’s talk. Let’s discuss it. Tell Me. Show Me what I have promised you, and I will do that very thing that I have told you I would do.”

Don’t Fall For It!

Very often Christians pray against the devil as if he had some power. But the devil only has tricks, wiles and deception! He tries to allure people into his trap, getting them to believe something contrary to the Word of God. “…the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them” (2 Corinthians 4:4).

Praying The Right Way

We need to put God’s Word in our hearts, because His Word is His will for us. Once you write His Word and His will on your heart it will be easy for you to pray, because you will know whether or not your petition is according to His will. It becomes a joy to communicate with your Father because you know you are proclaiming His Word!

Your Words Are Important

There is spiritual power in your words. That is why it is so important to ask God, to talk with Him. God knows your heart, but your words are very important to Him.

Your Father Wants to Bless You!

Imagine your children asking you to buy them some ice cream. What happens when you give your child an ice cream treat? They are so happy and so grateful; they eat it with such great pleasure. They have ice cream on their face and hands and it is dripping on their shirt, but they are so happy because they are loving that ice cream. How do you as a parent feel then? “My babies are so happy and grateful. I will buy them something yummy again!” Isn’t that right?

Our heavenly Father is just as happy to answer our prayers! He tells His children, “Hitherto have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full” John 16:24). He tells us, “Ask that your joy may be full. I want to bless you. I want to help you. All you need to do is ask Me.” God wants us, His children, to rejoice in the same way a child rejoices when he receives something from his parents!

Healing Is Only a Prayer Away

If you need God’s help, whether it is healing or any other need, then believe it’s already done.  He wants to touch and heal you. Just open your heart to God and pray these words in sincerity. Tell Him everything you want to say. He hears you and He loves you.

“Dear Jesus,You said in the Bible that You heal any sickness. You said that You save and heal everyone who calls upon Your name. I believe in Your Word and today I come to You. I believe that You are my healer. I believe that You are my Savior. I believe that You are healing my body right now. Thank You, Jesus, for this precious gift. Right now I receive what Jesus paid for with His own life. I receive my healing. I believe that I am healed! You are my healer, Jesus! Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Jesus! Amen.”

What Do You Want?

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Hitherto have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16:23-24).

I love this Scripture. “Whatsoever you shall ask, God will give it to you.” Prayer is based on your desires and expectations. What do you expect from God—what do you want?
