What will you do with the gifts of God you have been given? Dedication to the Lord is that step where we devote ourselves to both the will and the way of God. Remember, talent is cheap but dedication is costly!
Dead religion and sin consciousness have created an inferiority complex in people, but God has no intention of putting you down. His great plan is to lift you up out of condemnation and give you a purpose!
You and I were created for friendship and fellowship with God. Our rightful place is with Him, not under His feet or under His thumb. He doesn’t carry a hammer or a whip, commanding obedience—no! Our rightful place is standing arm-in-arm with our living, loving Father God!
The love, forgiveness, and supernatural life of healing and miracles that Jesus demonstrated in the Gospels is what we are to be demonstrating now in our lives, as we continue what the book of Acts started!
Jesus said to go into all the world, and you’re His representatives. Where you go, He goes. Even as He is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17). That doesn’t mean that we’re Jesus, it means we represent His power. If you can’t present His power, then all you’re giving the world is another philosophy!
If you have believed that Jesus came and gave His life for you, and that you are forgiven of your sins and will spend eternity with Him, then you have all the faith you need to heal the sick and raise the dead! ALL things are possible with God!
You are not bound to be the person you were in the past. If Jesus is your Lord, the old you is dead and you are now a resurrected person — a new creation — with the potential of God in you!
It doesn’t matter how long you have been in ministry or how long you’ve been studying the Bible, the Word of God can become like stale bread if you allow it to lay dormant in your heart!
Scripture says we are to “love others as we love ourselves” (Mark 12:33 author’s paraphrase). Maybe the reason some people treat others so harshly is because that’s how they feel about themselves. They don’t see themselves as good enough or worthy enough, so to them no one else is either. When we comprehend the gospel we see that God loves us! He loved us so much that He gave His own Son to die for us!
God created us in His image with dignity and purpose. He created us to experience His love. He has entrusted us with His authority and only requires one thing from us—that we believe and trust His words to us!
