You are not what you appear to be as you go about your day. Never forget that you are empowered by the living God, and that same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives within you!
In Luke chapter 13, when the people saw the woman loosed from the spirit of infirmity, they didn’t see that Jesus had come to die on that cross to loose every person ever born from every spirit of infirmity!
When you believe in your heart and confess Christ as Savior, nothing can separate you from God. No sin can control you. No sickness can have authority over your life. God Himself lives in you!
You can actually enjoy the process of going through tough moments by looking for the good in them. The things you can change, by all means change, but the things you cannot change should not have the right to dominate your life!
Ephesians 1:6 says that we are seated together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. That’s not a future promise, it’s a present reality that will help you greatly as you navigate the tribulations on this earth. Our position in Christ is secure, and as we look at ourselves from His perspective we will rise above the mountains and the enemies before us!
You might have been born into a poor family, with a poor education and poor friends living in a poor neighborhood—but you do NOT have to stay there! There is no one limiting you. You are not a prisoner of your past, your neighborhood, your lack of education or what others are telling you. When Christ comes to live in you there is a new power in operation!
It’s important for us to understand that there are no limitations or boundaries drawn where God “categorizes” a sickness as being simple or difficult. The power of the Lord is present to heal now, even as you are reading this. And that healing power covers EVERY manner of infirmity, and every manner of disease!
This is Christianity’s finest hour! There will be no better time than this to awaken the Body of Christ and demonstrate to the spiritual seekers that the Jesus we speak of is not another dead prophet, but a resurrected Lord who is calling out to them to give them life while there is still time!
When I have a time of need, I march boldly into the throne room of God to obtain what I need. I turn the circumstances over to Him and say: “Father, no matter how I feel or how I look, no matter if sickness is knocking on my door, I know sickness is NOT the truth and will therefore not be my reality. I’m giving it to You, I thank You, and am here to boldly acknowledge and receive the healing You provided for me through what Your Son has done for me!”
It seems natural to me that if I have a living God who has revealed Himself to me, that I should expect Him to get involved with my life. It’s HIS idea to be among His people! He reveals Himself as a caring God who loves us, and we should expect to recognize signs of that in all that we do. Jesus hasn’t lost any power, love, or concern for people, so allow Him to be Himself in your life!
