You have the name of JESUS, and every demonic entity and work MUST bow to that name. Don’t get involved in dialogs and methods! When you get this clearly fixed in your thinking, these things will bow at your command because you’re not backing down. Every foe of the plans and purposes of God—sickness, demons, lack, oppression and fear, in all their forms—is under Jesus’ feet, and YOU are the one with the dominion!
If you are born again in Christ, the ministry of healing is your job. It’s not an option, a movement, a special anointing, a gift of the Holy Spirit or a “special calling” for certain special saints. It is our JOB—a responsibility, an employment, assignment, profession, task, work—our duty. We are to look at healing with the expectation that we are doing our job when we speak, and Jesus is doing His job to bring healing to the hurting, because He paid for it!
When you allow Christ to transform your life through His Word, you’ll start to experientially know what it means to abide in Him and Him in you. You’ll begin to demonstrate the life a new creation is meant to live in the earth, and the world will come running to know what you have!
If you are a follower of Christ, then you have His life in you and everything included with it. You have His model of supernatural life, His expectation of answered prayer, His righteous stand before God without shame, guilt, or sin, His heart for lost humanity, His call to give away His free life to others, His victory over the devil, sickness, inferiority and lack. Anything of the curse, you have dominion over!
In many areas of life you can slip back into old patterns that you had previously freed yourself from. You wake up one day and realize you are back in the rut of doing what you were stuck in 10 or 20 years ago! This can also happen in your thinking, which ends up limiting the power of God actively working in your life. It happens when you start reading the Bible more as a history book than as a living letter to you, to be applied and acted on every day. Remember, back then it was the ministry of Jesus in a Jew. BUT NOW, it’s not just history, it has become the ministry of Jesus carried out through you!
It’s a lie from the devil that you can’t be used by God until you are perfected. You and I will be renewing our minds until the day we die, so we should never let anything hinder us from going and doing!
Jesus took off His equality with God, so He could put on human flesh and walk on this earth demonstrating to us what God looked like in human flesh. He had no sin nature, so the devil had no ability to put anything on Him or do anything to Him until it was time for the cross. There, He took YOUR sin nature, and all the judgements that were against you because of it, and gave you His LIFE in exchange! Now you are cleansed, with the nature of Christ in you, and the devil has no more right to touch you than he did Jesus! This is how we walk in the earth as He did, and can do the works He said we can do! “… as he is so also are we in this world” 1 John 4:17.
Does DNA matter? It does if you understand what takes place inside you the moment you believe and receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord. In that covenant exchange, He takes away all the sin that separated you from God, and replaces it with His own DNA in you so you can live and walk as He did in this world!
“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him” (John 14:7). Jesus healed, Jesus delivered, Jesus taught, Jesus loved, because Jesus IS love. Hebrews 1:3 tells us that Jesus is the exact representation of the Father’s nature. When you see Jesus in the Word, you’re seeing the Father’s heart. And when you understand the nature and character of God, and His love for mankind, you will always have the right doctrine!
Every time a leader in this world tries to play the role of God, it ends up in defeat. True greatness is NOT achieved by reducing other people to servitude, but in giving of yourself in selfless service to others!
