The kind of true and unselfish love that doesn’t think of itself is only possible when you see yourself already taken care of by your Lord. If you really believe you are totally provided for, then you can switch your thoughts off yourself and on to others!

Many people believe God has a huge office where He is very busy with a lot of work to do, which means He has absolutely no time for them. They look at the sky wondering, “Would God do anything for me? He’s so powerful but so far away…” But God doesn’t say “no” to you! God’s answer to everyone is “YES!” and He’s reaching out to you today. “If you are hungry, come to Me, and I will feed you! If you are thirsty, come to Me and drink! If you are in need, come to Me, open up your heart and give Me your problems!” (John 7:37)

This is not a time to be a casual Christian! This is the time to thank God you have a Bible—that someone paid the price to put these Words into your hands—so that in the midst of a deluded and demonically influenced world you can know and walk in the TRUTH!

How do you begin to live a life of consistent results? You can begin with your thoughts! Fill the treasure chest of your mind with the truth and expectation from God’s Word, instead of the thoughts of fear and dread the world is continually trying to infect you with. When you make a practice of this, life will begin to look as bright on the outside as you are making it on the inside!

In order for God to work with us we are going to have to cooperate with Him. If we want to receive total victory and deliverance, it’s not enough to simply KNOW that God understands and cares about us. We must go on from there and DO WHAT HIS WORD SAYS! Cast ALL of our anxieties, ALL of our worries and ALL of our concerns upon Him, for He cares for us!

Why would Christ die on a cross and take my sin if He didn’t have a plan for my success? Everyone should be planning for success, because the One who lives in you by His Spirit defeated your enemy! 

The truth is that those things that appear as giants to you are looked upon as NOTHING to God. And because God lives in you, there is defeat in the heart of your enemies who attempt stand in the way of the plans and purposes God desires for your life!

If you’re feeling like a panicked disciple out in the middle of the sea in a foundering ship, remember: there is One greater than the stormy seas and He lives inside you! He holds the earth with all of its seas in the palm of His hand! Speak to those storms just as Jesus did, and put your trust in Him to bring you to safe harbor!

What can you do when you find yourself disconnected with yourself, your dreams, your past, and your family? There is always a way back! You have been left with a letter from heaven; a voice from a place that is unchanging, a book of ideas that are confirmed to all who choose to believe them. Locate yourself in the Bible and preach it to yourself!

Train your thoughts on JESUS! Change your words to what GOD says! The scriptures are clear, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7 NIV).

If you are born again there may be darkness all around you, but you are light because the light giver lives in you! There may be curses all around you but you are blessed! There may be bondage all around you but you are free!
