It’s No Longer You Who Lives

It is so important to remember that when we are born into the kingdom of God, our spirits are recreated and we no longer possess solely a human identity; we take on Christ’s identity, a GOD identity. He who is joined with the Lord is one spirit with Him! (1 Cor 6:17)

You’ve Got the Power

The life of God birthed in you when you accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord is the same life that Jesus received in the tomb when He rose from the dead! The seed that resurrected Him to a new beginning, now causes a new reality of power and purpose in you as well. His work is complete—now He lives in YOU and works through YOU on the earth with His miracle life!

Let the Miracle-Life Begin!

When you have an encounter with Jesus Christ and surrender your life to receive Him as your Savior and Lord, it is not just an emotional experience. It was you saying YES to God’s will in the same way that Jesus’ mother Mary did. Though she didn’t understand all of the “how,” her response to God was, “May it be done to me according to your word.” When we say “yes,” the miracle-life can begin!

Don’t Just Survive—Thrive!

There is no reason for us to cower in fear during these times we’re living in!  There is no reason for us to allow the devil to torment us with fear, because the Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 1:7 that God has NOT given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. God’s Word contains everything we need to not just survive, but thrive—and THAT is the TRUTH!

Be a Good Extension Cord

God in us is the continual source of life. We’re like an extension cord. The power in the cord is potential power—present but not seen or used until plugged into something that will put a draw on it. All the power that is in God is in us when we are plugged into Jesus. When we in turn plug into others with the truth of God’s Word, the power of God flows through us to meet their needs in the exact same way it flowed through Jesus when He was on the earth!

The Rock that Won’t Roll

Faith never judges according to sight or feelings, because faith is the evidence of things not seen but promised. Faith rests on far more solid ground than the evidence of the senses—the solid ground of the Word of God! The reality your senses are experiencing may disagree at first, but when you remain immovable on the truth of God’s Word, your experiences will change!

Immovable and Unchangeable

In the darkness of this world, we need a North Star. We need a fixed point to guide us through the night. We need something that will not change. People change, denominations change, economies change, governments and religions change—but JESUS DOES NOT CHANGE! He must be our fixed point. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. We can anchor our lives to Him and He will carry us through the night and the stormy seas!

ALL IN

If you have confessed Christ as your Savior, God lives IN you and nothing can separate you from Him. No sin can control you and no sickness can have authority over your life unless you permit it to. How do you stand against these things? You come to the place where you declare that regardless of what you may see, hear or feel, the Word of God is the ONLY truth in the matter, and anything to the contrary is a lie. It is how you will live, the words you will speak and the only thing you will agree with, no matter what others may have to say about it. “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:31-32).

Your Right to Choose: Fear or Faith?

God has given us the sacred right of choice about our future. He’s also given us His Word and the wonderful power of faith to make our choice a reality. We can choose to fear that the economy will go down and take us with it. We can choose to fear that the doctor’s reports of cancer, heart disease, or a thousand other diagnoses are the final word. We can choose to fear tomorrow and fold up, or we can spread our wings of faith, believing and declaring that God’s Word is true and our lives will demonstrate the fruit of it! The facts of our faith put us in the realm of God. Jesus said, “All things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23)!

Speak to Your Future

What will the future hold as you stand once again on the threshold of a new year? You can declare with confidence that you are more than a conqueror in every situation as Romans 8:37 declares. Why expect the worst when ALL things are possible to those who believe, as Jesus has spoken? Why believe it will be a time of fear and isolation, when Jesus said I will never leave you nor forsake you?
