When I have a time of need I don’t worry about what I have done wrong, I simply submit myself to God, humbling myself before His great and mighty work, recognizing what He’s done, and acknowledging that I am made righteous by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Recognize that you have the power tool in your mouth through the great confession of our Christianity—which says that God is alive, Jesus is my healer, ALL things are possible—and what you see now is not the reality of where you will see me later!
One of the greatest ways to establish the foundation of healing in your heart and in your life is by using your own confession of God’s Word and hearing it in your own ears!
When sickness tries to attack me I say, “Devil, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in me! God’s power is in me! Sickness, I command you to leave my body right now!”
The Bible is God’s medicine for you, because by reading the Bible you strengthen your faith. Then as Jesus said, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes,” (Mark 9:23). The Apostle Paul wrote, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God,” (Romans 10:17). This is why it is so important to read the Bible—to take God’s medicine!
We are soldiers; we have the belt of truth, the shield of righteousness and shoes of peace. I will not be afraid; I know that God will answer my prayers. I know that God will not leave me. He will take care of me, because He said in His Word, “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).
Proclaim His Word, remind yourself of His promises. Do not let the devil blind your mind—oppose him with the truth of God’s Word!
Our Father said, “Ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16:23-24). God is good!
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened… If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” (Matthew 7:7-11).
How should we ask? With confidence. How should we seek? Earnestly. How should we knock? With perseverance and confidence. “Father, I believe in Your Word. I believe that Your Word is true, and I expect to receive an answer from You.”
Put on the helmet of salvation. Surround your mind with the thoughts of salvation. Words have power over our thoughts—speak the words of salvation!
The Gospel is peace, wear it on your feet! Speak it aloud! Think about it! Pick up the shield of faith and believe that God will fulfill what He has promised!
There is spiritual power in your words. That is why it is so important to ask God, to talk with Him. God knows your heart, but your words are very important to Him.
