First Peter 1:23 tells us that the seed of God, His Word, is incorruptible. So we can have confidence and expectation that when we hear the Word of God and it lands in the soil of our heart, something good is going to come forth from it! Since God’s Word is incorruptible, it cannot be changed and is a force that has the ability to transform our lives!
Seeds are designed to produce, so if all you’re seeing are weeds and thistles in your life, then it’s time to change crops and plant better seeds! Where do you find good seed? Jesus said in John 6:63 that His words are spirit and LIFE. Clearing out the thistles and weeds of wrong thoughts and words, and replacing them with the seeds of life found in your Bible will produce life-giving harvests!
“Jesus, You went to the cross and took away all of my sin. You took every form of sickness and disease, and you died for me. Now I see every sin, failure, fear, and problem, every weakness, sickness, tumor, and autoimmune disease laid upon You 2,000 years ago. Lord Jesus, I know I am crucified with You, and now I live, yet not I but You are alive in me! I exchange my old life and my old body for a new life and a new body. I come out of the grave, I come forth from the tomb, and I declare I am saved, I am healed, I am delivered, and I am a child of the Living God! Thank you, Jesus, I have no fear of tomorrow, I have no fear of any diagnosis, I have no fear of failure or sin, because I am in You and You are in me!”
There is a place in Christ where you lack nothing. That place may surprise you—it may appear to be a lifeless, famine field! Your faith and actions make the difference in how your environment responds to you!
Many people fail to receive what they pray for because of lack of understanding about confession. The word confession in the Greek language means “saying the same thing.” This means we are to believe and say only what God says in His Word about our sins, sicknesses and everything else included in our redemption. When we affirm what God says about it, He watches over it to make it good!
God tells us in 2 Corinthians 9 that He gives seed to the sower. What seed from God do you have that you can sow? His Word is full of seeds, they are the truth of who you are in Christ, what you have, and what you can do. Find those seeds and start sowing them into your heart, speaking them over yourself each day. Water them with your faith and patience, and watch transformation begin to take place as you see the Word becoming alive in you!
Your heart is the spiritual “factory” that creates reality from what is placed in it. Your words are the raw material that the faith in your heart goes to work on, creating the world around you. That means you have the power to produce heaven on earth, or hell on earth, all by what you are saying!
Never underestimate the importance of your personal testimony, no matter how small it may seem. The potential of your words in a heart that is ready to receive it is as explosive as one little match in a mountain of dry wood!
Scripture says in Philippians 4:4, “Rejoice in the Lord always. And again, I say rejoice!” These are victory keys! Take any unbelief, expose it and bring it before God. It’s real and it’s attacking your mind. And then give glory to God, rejoicing in what belongs to us in the name of Jesus. And your faith shall be made strong!
Many times it’s not that we need more faith, it’s that we need to recognize when unbelief is standing between us and the promise of God. This is when we put the Word of God in our mouths and say, “All things are possible for the one who believes (Mark 9:23)! And I believe, so doubt, you move out of my way NOW in the name of Jesus!”
