You never have to lose your enthusiasm for life. There’s more to be discovered than years left to live! You have a great future, with unlimited faith potential and flawless truth to fall back on, even in the toughest of times. Don’t let time steal your dreams—God has plans for you!
Let’s allow ourselves to dream and recognize that God does not limit us. Yes, He directs us and empowers us to fulfill His will and each one of us has a destiny. BUT NEVER ALLOW the misguided, judgmental statements of people around you to restrict you from being all that you can be!
Persist in your God-given dreams and desires, because resistance to your dreams is as normal as gravity is to our atmosphere. It holds everything down, but it doesn’t stop us from flying!
You are alive and all that is alive has potential. You can begin again if you don’t like who you are or the direction you’re going. It just takes a quality decision and the ability to stop allowing time to dictate to you what you can and can’t achieve. Don’t look back at what might have been—look forward to what can still be!
Be careful of the age attitude. In the 1940s a basketball center was about 6’4″, and they would shuffle their way back and forth on the court as centers normally do. Today, a basketball center is 7′, and the 6’4″ point guards run like cheetahs on the court. What’s the difference? How they see themselves! Don’t shuffle through life. You can have what you go after with God on your side!
You are made in the image and likeness of God. What type of life does that produce? It’s a life full of adventure and expectation of new things every day. The resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s fearless and enthusiastic, greeting God with a childlike, “What’s next, Papa?”
As you begin this week, remember the wonderful things that God has done for you. Every one of us who are born again have “super” living in our natural! The supernatural is Christ indwelling our natural flesh, making ALL things possible!
Embarking on a new opportunity may feel like navigating a challenging mountain slope. It’s worth the climb, but it will take concentrated effort to enjoy the journey. Today, are you willing to stretch beyond your comfort zone? Will you take a hike up a different side of the mountain? You may discover a new exposure that lies just ahead of you!
God tells us in 2 Corinthians 9 that He gives seed to the sower. What seed from God do you have that you can sow? God has given ideas and concepts to you about who He says you are, what you have been given in Christ, and what you can do. These are key seeds that you have the opportunity to sow to experience the results you want in your life!
We have to be careful not to get full of the Word of God and then become complacent, as if we’ve had a huge, wonderful meal—but then just want to kick back in the recliner and lay there in all of the “calories” that we’ve consumed. We are not meant to be spectators, we are to be participators in the Word!
