Ephesians 1:6 says that we are seated together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. That’s not a future promise, it’s a present reality that will help you greatly as you navigate the tribulations on this earth. Our position in Christ is secure, and as we look at ourselves from His perspective we will rise above the mountains and the enemies before us!
I am praying for all our friends and partners, that you may know the plan that the Lord has set forth for your life. This knowledge will generate an inner strength, enabling you to face life each day with an “all things are possible” attitude. We pray that you may have His wisdom and His understanding for all of life’s decisions!
You might have been born into a poor family, with a poor education and poor friends living in a poor neighborhood—but you do NOT have to stay there! There is no one limiting you. You are not a prisoner of your past, your neighborhood, your lack of education or what others are telling you. When Christ comes to live in you there is a new power in operation!
It seems natural to me that if I have a living God who has revealed Himself to me, that I should expect Him to get involved with my life. It’s HIS idea to be among His people! He reveals Himself as a caring God who loves us, and we should expect to recognize signs of that in all that we do. Jesus hasn’t lost any power, love, or concern for people, so allow Him to be Himself in your life!
Breathe the air of expectation! God has a lot to do in a little amount of time with us. Expect to see Him around the corner. Expect to hear Him and expect that He will speak through you when you open your mouth. We are all He has to work with, so expect Him to use you!
The church has been very good at creating events WITHIN the church. We have wonderful food and entertainment, air-conditioning and flowers, and can teach and preach amongst ourselves without a problem. But the table we set is not supposed to be for ourselves…it is supposed to be for others who have not yet experienced the joy, peace, and beauty of being in the family of God. SET THE TABLE FOR THE WORLD!
You did not choose to be born. You didn’t choose your family, your color or your looks, but you CAN choose your future. Jesus said, “I am the way.” He did NOT say, “I am one of the ways,” or, “In my opinion, I am the way.” He knows your design and exactly what you need. Your soul cannot find rest until it finds its Creator.
Many people believe God has a huge office where He is very busy with a lot of work to do, which means He has absolutely no time for them. They look at the sky wondering, “Would God do anything for me? He’s so powerful but so far away…” But God doesn’t say “no” to you! God’s answer to everyone is “YES!” and He’s reaching out to you today. “If you are hungry, come to Me, and I will feed you! If you are thirsty, come to Me and drink! If you are in need, come to Me, open up your heart and give Me your problems!” (John 7:37)
Don’t let life, people, past failure or your present condition keep you from the seed of a dream in your heart. It doesn’t matter how bad your past is. You might say your sins are as dark as mud, but even a glass of mud will be drinkable if you keep pouring clean, fresh water into it!
Your identity is your concept of who you are. You’ve been given an identity by God and a name that is above every other name. Declare your God-given identity: “I am healed by the stripes of Jesus!” “I am born into the kingdom of God!” “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!”
