The world needs to know who God is—how much He loves them, what He has done and what He will do for them. Let it be a settled fact, it is God’s will to heal us. We are given healing as well as forgiveness when we believe!
When you have an encounter with Jesus Christ and surrender your life to receive Him as your Savior and Lord, it is not just an emotional experience. It was you saying YES to God’s will in the same way that Jesus’ mother Mary did. Though she didn’t understand all of the “how,” her response to God was, “May it be done to me according to your word.” When we say “yes,” the miracle-life can begin!
Jesus gave to us the gift of eternal life along with the gift of His Word. Every day of our lives we can choose to unwrap the exciting treasures that are contained within those gifts!
Jesus has purchased all humanity back from the enemy, from the broken and so-called “unusable” people who are considered worthless by society, to those perched upon high pedestals and revered throughout the ages. We are ALL redeemed by His precious blood. “And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices” (Hebrews 10:18). When our sins are paid for, they are no longer held against us. We are paid for in full!
God’s Word is not a rulebook to limit humanity’s pleasure. He created your Bible as a power-filled guidebook and operations manual on how to live and experience life at a new level—a life of love and peace, free of guilt, fear, lack, sickness and all the other distresses of mankind!
During these days in which we’re living, it’s vitally important to understand that Satan has NO power! The only influence he has over us is what we give him when we believe his lies over the Word of the Living God!
The greatest truth and mystery of all time is the miraculous work accomplished on the cross. It set the stage for a new humanity to emerge from the ashes of sin, shame, and spiritual separation from God, and continues to work just as powerfully today. Jesus didn’t just die for you, He died AS you, and raised you up with Him as a totally New Creation!
At the heart of the New Covenant lies a deep confidence that God has ALREADY DONE everything for us. Our part is simply to respond—to allow Him to do for us and in us what His grace has already given to us. We enter into the rest of faith, believing what God has said and continuing to thank Him for it!
The disciples saw a man hanging on a cross who had been judged guilty of a crime; they didn’t see the crimes of humanity put on that Man. They saw blood flowing from the head, side, and back of a man, but didn’t see the curse of sickness legally removed from humanity and put on that Man. They saw a man lifted off the ground on a wooden beam, they didn’t see themselves lifted from the control of this world’s system. They witnessed the flesh of one man being crucified, but didn’t realize that the sin nature of all men was being crucified on that day!
When you accepted Jesus as your Savior, do you know what actually happened? God justified you. He sees you as though you had never sinned. He already put the entire penalty for your sins on His Son, Jesus. And He gave you Jesus’ righteousness—His right-standing with the Father!
