What does the world need? They need a revelation of the Father from John 3:16, “For God so loved the world.” Do you truly understand how powerful that is, or have you just skimmed over the surface of it? Has it simply been a recitation, or do you realize that this love broke the power of every demonic power that exists?
There is a heaven to gain and a hell to avoid in our future. No one will be sitting anything out on a mythical fence. Our bodies are temporal, but our spirits are eternal and will live forever in one of those two places and you make that choice!
God is not sitting up in heaven behind some great golden desk of stern authority, automatically stamping “NO” on all our requests. Because of what Jesus did on our behalf, we have both access and conversation in the throne room of God!
God didn’t hold you guilty, He held Jesus guilty. Jesus went to the cross and paid the sin debt for all of humanity. When you accept this gift and receive Him as your Savior, you can walk away from shame and guilt and fear by going directly to God and giving it all to Him. You’ve been set free!
Dead religion and sin consciousness have created an inferiority complex in people, but God has no intention of putting you down. His great plan is to lift you up out of condemnation and give you a purpose!
You and I were created for friendship and fellowship with God. Our rightful place is with Him, not under His feet or under His thumb. He doesn’t carry a hammer or a whip, commanding obedience—no! Our rightful place is standing arm-in-arm with our living, loving Father God!
The love, forgiveness, and supernatural life of healing and miracles that Jesus demonstrated in the Gospels is what we are to be demonstrating now in our lives, as we continue what the book of Acts started!
Scripture says we are to “love others as we love ourselves” (Mark 12:33 author’s paraphrase). Maybe the reason some people treat others so harshly is because that’s how they feel about themselves. They don’t see themselves as good enough or worthy enough, so to them no one else is either. When we comprehend the gospel we see that God loves us! He loved us so much that He gave His own Son to die for us!
Those things that have limited you in your body, your background or your relationships may have made you believe that your future is limited. But I want to let you know that if Jesus is your Lord, your future has NO LIMITS!
“…But the angel said to them, “Listen! Do not fear. For I bring you good news of great joy, which will be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:10-11 MEV). “Good news of great joy” means, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
