You are not a “sinful worm” saved by grace. Stop seeing yourself as a beggar! You are not a moocher, but a producer! You have been given power to become a child of God! You have been given power to produce wealth! You are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ! YOU HAVE A DESTINY!
There is no theological degree required to lay hands on the sick. In fact, Mark 16:18 gives us simple instructions: those who believe will be able to place their hands on the sick and they will get well!
God adds to those who seek His ways. What does He add? The supernatural—the unexpected, the miraculous, the more than enough! All these things come into your life as you open His Word and search out HIS way of thinking and doing!
The Spirit of God dwelling in us gives life to our mortal bodies (Romans 8:11), and we call on this life to arise and strengthen us. This power dwelling in us was sufficient to raise Christ from the dead! Envision the Holy Spirit within you moving into every part of your body, infusing you with His power to overcome every sickness and infirmity!
Our thoughts are the seeds of our actions.
Our prayers are the seeds of answers.
Our giving is the seed of our receiving.
Our efforts are the seeds of our results.
Our words are the seeds of what fruit we will eat.
Jesus was a man born of a virgin, a man who lived a sinless life, a man who suffered and died for our sins, a man who rose from the dead, a man Who appeared to His disciples after His resurrection. These are not just fairy tales, but factual events confirmed by historians of that day. When we see the picture of these very impossible realities we discover a picture of hope that causes us to stand up and say “ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!”
There are lots of things we know exist but can’t be seen with our eyes. Electricity, gravity and love are just a few. Training your thoughts to imagine the unseen is the first step to living in supernatural answered prayer!
God is FOR you! He gave you the gift of eternal life so you would have peace of mind about your future. He breathed into you part of Himself so you would have awareness of His presence. He gave you the name of Jesus so you would have authority over all evil spirits. He gave you His promises for every area of your life so you would know His best for you. God is not hard, He is benevolent!
When you go outside the church walls with a clear proclamation of the gospel, the devil’s not going to roll over and say, “Welcome! Have your way!” But we know that the God we serve is bigger, He is far greater, He is mighty, and HE IS ALIVE IN US!
In Jesus’ parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30), the ruler over the servants expected increase, so he took the money from the non-producer and gave it to the producer. This might change your thinking about staying in a welfare system. Apparently God, who is love, does not expect His people to live a lifestyle that is content to rely on free handouts!
