Jesus said to go into all the world, and you’re His representatives. Where you go, He goes. Even as He is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17). That doesn’t mean that we’re Jesus, it means we represent His power. If you can’t present His power, then all you’re giving the world is another philosophy!
It doesn’t matter how long you have been in ministry or how long you’ve been studying the Bible, the Word of God can become like stale bread if you allow it to lay dormant in your heart!
Changing your location has nothing to do with your prosperity. It’s possible to be poor in a wealthy society, and it’s also possible to prosper in a poor society. You can prosper in the midst of adverse conditions where everyone else is failing, just as Isaac did when he obeyed the Lord! “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous” (Genesis 26:12-13).
God created us in His image with dignity and purpose. He created us to experience His love. He has entrusted us with His authority and only requires one thing from us—that we believe and trust His words to us!
If a branch of a tree is abiding in the life of that tree, that means its connection to that tree is stable and fixed. When we are truly abiding in Christ then our connection should be stable and fixed, so like a healthy branch, we will grow, strengthen, and produce fruit!
All the devil heard from the lips of Christ when tempting Him was “It is written,” and he was powerless against Him. Whose report are you going to believe, the devil’s lies, or the report of the Lord?
Don’t blame God, life, circumstances, economy, family, neighborhood, the past or anything else for the life you are experiencing right now. The truth is, whatever you have sown, you will reap. The good news is, if you don’t like where you are right now, you can use that truth to turn things around!
What is the position we take when we have unanswered prayers? We stand firm and never quit! Elijah prayed 7 times for it to rain. He didn’t quit at the 6th time and start teaching his disciples why God doesn’t always answer. No! He persisted and received rain the 7th time! 1 Kings 18:42-44
Are you still asking God to do what He told us to do? Or have you stepped over into the joy and adventure of obedience by partnering with Him and doing what He has instructed YOU to do?
I have walked the ‘be strong and of good courage’ path for many years with nothing more than the Word of GOD in my heart, a positive confession in my mouth, and a small band of committed partners. I have seen His miracles and I KNOW that GOD will never fail us! He is true to HIS Word!
