We’re living in a day when all we’re hearing from the world is talk of what we don’t have, used to have, would like to have or should have. In the midst of this “lack-speak,” It’s very important to take stock of what you DO have. If you are a child of God, then you know you have Jesus Christ living in you, which means ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
So many voices in the current events we face today are shouting, “It’s too hard! You don’t have what it takes! You’re not going to make it!” At that moment when things are hard—when you feel like you will fail and you want to quit—lock down on the Word of God and do NOT give up. EVER!
God has always had a plan for you. He will never give up on you! He gave His very best for you, and He desires for you to experience all that He has for you. He is a partner in our labors working things together for us. What peace comes from trusting in Him, knowing that He is working behind the scenes on our behalf!
You can actually enjoy the process of going through tough moments by looking for the good in them. The things you can change, by all means change, but the things you cannot change should not have the ability to dominate your life!
The unsaved world is not interested in our sermons, but they ARE interested in a Christ who will get involved in their individual lives. Introduce them to that Jesus!
Never let someone else tell you who you are! Just as Jesus found Himself in the scriptures, you can find yourself in the scriptures too. And when you do, you will discover who you are and who you are called to be!
If God’s Word says that we are more than conquerors through Christ, then we are. We are not going to become, we already are. We may be experiencing some failures or setbacks in life right now, but only good will come out of our situations because God says that “in all these things we are more than conquerors” (Romans 8:37). We have the victory!
Can you visualize the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead not only upon you, but according to Romans chapter 8:11, now indwelling you and giving life to every part of your physical body?
Jesus is not only with the Christian but He is IN the Christian; yet many are full of fears and worries, gloom and doom—waiting for a bail out by something bigger or “better.” Only when you know and understand Who is both with you and in you, will you will rise to the new levels of confidence to walk in the position of authority you have been given!
When Jesus called Lazarus forth out of that tomb in John chapter 11, He said to the people, “Unwrap him and let him go.” Why is this important? Because many of us still wear the “clothes” of bondage to sin, sickness, disease, lack, fear, etc. But you and I have not only been brought back to life, we have been unwrapped and set free, and transitioned into a new kingdom where we now have the authority to change things!
