The things you give attention to will grow and become stronger, and what you don’t pay attention to will diminish. If the giants in your life feel like they’re about to crush you, it’s time to adjust your focus over to the Word of God, and Jesus Christ, the giant slayer that lives in you!
In the days we’re currently living in, it’s vitally important to understand that Satan has NO power! The only so-called power he has is what we relinquish to him when we believe his lies over the Word of the Living God!
The disturbances and confusion of the world is not a call to a monastic life, but rather a call to a higher thought life. Our victory is not found in fleeing the pressures of a secular world, but in keeping our thoughts in line with God’s thoughts in the midst of Satan’s bombardment.
The most influential voice in your life is the one on the inside of you. It either tells you that you can do great things in life, or it says that you’re in one way or another a victim of circumstance. It speaks whatever has been fed into your life, which is why it’s so important to feed on God’s Word!
It’s easy to forget the source of your water when all you see is the pipe. The key to a constant flow of healing is a focus on the presence of Jesus the Healer!
As human beings we possess something very different than the rest of creation. We possess the ability to forgive. No matter what the world says, you do NOT have to remain a prisoner of hatred, fear and anger.
If you can control your thoughts, you can overcome in life. No person, spirit, or circumstance has the right or ability to control your thoughts. You are the master of your inner man! You are the captain of your soul. Learn to nurture and protect it by deciding what thoughts you will think (2 Corinthians 10:5).
If you will train yourself to develop the habit of looking for beauty in the midst of chaos, difficulty and discouragement, you can rise up out of stagnation and hopelessness and find renewed courage and hope!
The choice is ours. If we won’t see and embrace the truth of how God sees us and thinks about us, we’ll be doomed to a life of perceiving ourselves as helpless, weak, and subject to circumstances. That’s called prison, and it’s NOT how God created us to live!
You are not what you appear to be as you go about your day. Never forget that you are empowered by the living God, and that same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives within you!
