If you will train yourself to develop the habit of looking for beauty in the midst of chaos, difficulty and discouragement, you can rise up out of stagnation and hopelessness and find renewed courage and hope!
The choice is ours. If we won’t see and embrace the truth of how God sees us and thinks about us, we’ll be doomed to a life of perceiving ourselves as helpless, weak, and subject to circumstances. That’s called prison, and it’s NOT how God created us to live!
You are not what you appear to be as you go about your day. Never forget that you are empowered by the living God, and that same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives within you!
When the twelve spies came back from the Promised Land, ten of them couldn’t conceive of themselves winning in a battle with giants. Why? Because they saw themselves as grasshoppers. God was for them, but they were against themselves. See yourself achieving the impossible!
In Luke chapter 13, when the people saw the woman loosed from the spirit of infirmity, they didn’t see that Jesus had come to die on that cross to loose every person ever born from every spirit of infirmity!
Don’t blame God, life, circumstances, economy, family, neighborhood, the past or anything else for the life you are experiencing right now. The truth is, whatever you have sown, you will reap. The good news is, if you don’t like where you are right now, you can use that truth to turn things around!
You can change negative thoughts in a moment with your words, because your mind can’t think a different thought than your mouth is speaking. Look in God’s Word for what you should be saying; He always has a positive answer!
You have the same faith that Jesus has. It is a faith that has confidence in the unseen and is not based on any evidence other than the Word of God. This faith moves mountains and brings answers to prayer!
When you believe in your heart and confess Christ as Savior, nothing can separate you from God. No sin can control you. No sickness can have authority over your life. God Himself lives in you!
What is the position we take when we have unanswered prayers? We stand firm and never quit! Elijah prayed 7 times for it to rain. He didn’t quit at the 6th time and start teaching his disciples why God doesn’t always answer. No! He persisted and received rain the 7th time! 1 Kings 18:42-44
