The Keys of the Kingdom are Yours

The sacrifice of the holy blood of Jesus that covered the sins of all people is enough! Scripture says that now anyone can come to the throne of grace with boldness because we were all covered with the blood of Jesus, and the keys of the kingdom were given to each one of us!

Merry Christmas!

It’s an exciting time of year – a time of decorations, baking, lights, and of course, Christmas gifts! There is another very special aspect of this season – it’s what the angels said, Behold, unto you a Savior is born. Good will towards all of mankind. Christmas is indeed a miracle.

When Kevin was a young boy, his father passed away leaving eight children. For the grieving family it looked as if there would be no gifts for Christmas that year.

On Christmas morning however, as the family awoke not expecting any gifts at all, they found on the front porch a giant box of presents for all eight children! It was truly a miracle Christmas for all!

Today, the greatest miracle gift of all is Jesus. May He be at the very center of your Christmas, and the focus of all that you do. Merry Christmas!

Stay Focused

The three wise men set their focus on following the star all the way to Bethlehem. Likewise, in the midst of the thousands of bits of information that come at us each day, we must keep our focus on Jesus, the only light that will truly transform us.

You Have What You Need

When the Holy Spirit moves into you He moves in with all of His luggage. He doesn’t leave any of it behind! Whatever you have need of—a word, provision, guidance, a miracle—it’s already in you and accessible!

Obey and Prosper

Changing location has nothing to do with prosperity. It is possible to be poor in a wealthy society; just as it is possible to prosper in a poor society, and even during a crisis where others are in want all around you. Isaac obeyed the Lord, and he prospered! “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous” (Genesis 26:12-13).

Beggar or Believer?

If we spend most of our time begging God to do what He’s already done, and the rest of the time asking Him to do what He’s told us to do, what have we just done? Nothing! Ask yourself today, are you a beggar or are you a believer?

Love God, Love Yourself

Scripture says we are to “love others as we love ourselves” (Mark 12:33, author’s paraphrase).  Maybe the reason there is so much harsh treatment of others is that people hate themselves. They don’t see themselves as good enough or worthy enough, and they project the same attitude toward those around them!

A Daily Affirmation

Make this a daily affirmation: “Thank you Lord that greatness lives in me because YOU are great! I choose to seek after greatness in life, and I can do it because You are in me, we are partners, and we will do it together!”

No Worms Here!

You are not a “sinful worm” saved by grace. Stop seeing yourself as a beggar! You are not a moocher, but a producer! You have been given power to become a child of God! You have been given power to produce wealth! You are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ! YOU HAVE A DESTINY!

You CAN Do It!

There is no theological degree required to lay hands on the sick. In fact, Mark 16:18 gives us simple instructions: those who believe will be able to place their hands on the sick and they will get well!
