Witness
The words and actions of people who believe in Jesus Christ, that inform others of His Love and Miracle Life, and that invite them to enter into relationship with Him.
Son of God
The name of the Divine Creator’s self-expression in human flesh, to reveal His character to human persons and to fulfill the Eternal Plan of human redemption. Matthew 14:33 - "Then they that were in the ship came and worshiped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God." Mark 1:1 - "The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;"
Sin
The condition of all human persons born into the consequences of the rebellion of – the first human persons – which resulted in the alienation of people from their living Creator. James 4:17 - "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin."
Scripture
The ancient texts that were written over a period of more than 2,000 years, by more than 40 human authors , which harmonize into one story of the Eternal Deity’s person and plan for all of creation. Comprised of 66 separate books, this library of writings is also referred to as the Holy Bible.
Satan
The created being who rebelled against the Creator and through deception, influenced the first human persons, Adam and Eve, to join in the rebellion against the Eternal one.
Remission
Release from the guilt, penalty and judgment of sin. Acts 2:38 - "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 10:43 - "To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins."
Regenerated or Regeneration
To be spiritually reformed or recreated to a higher state as a member of Divine Royalty.
Redemption
The action taken by the Creator to provide rescue to human persons from the consequences of their rebellion against Him, and to restore people to their rightful place in the Divine Plan. Romans 3:24 - "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." Ephesians 1:7 - "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;"
Prayer
Communication between human persons and the Eternal Deity who welcomes rapport and interaction with anyone. Matthew 21:22 - "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."
Peace
The deep serenity of spirit and mind that is given to those who understand and believe that they are reunited with their Divine Creator. Isaiah 26:3 - "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."
Miracle
The intervention of the Eternal One in human affairs.
Lord Jesus Christ
The One who is both the Eternal Creator (Lord), the incarnate One (Jesus), and the Promised One (Christ), who lived among people and demonstrated the love and authority of the Ultimate Deity. Acts 16:31 - "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."
Lord
The title used in reference to the Eternal Creator and Master of all creation.
Justified or Justification
To declare a person free of blame and reconciled to the Divine Creator. Romans 3:24 - "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:"
Jesus
The name given to the human and divine child born of the virgin Mary, whom she conceived by the Holy Spirit of the Eternal Creator and who was God Incarnate, born to fulfill the Divine Purpose. Matthew 1:21 - "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins."
Holy Spirit
The Presence and Manifesting Power of all that is Eternal Deity. Acts 1:8 - "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
His Word
The “Word of God” or “God’s Word” are terms of reference to the ancient Scriptures of both the old and New Testaments of the Bible, written by human persons being divinely inspired by the Supreme Deity. Romans 10:17 - "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
Heart
The symbolic term used to define the seat of human will, emotion and reason. Rom.10:10 - "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Grace
Divine Love extended to human persons without regard for their condition or response. Rom.3:24 - "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:" Eph.2:8 - "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"
Gospels
Four of the books within the collection of sacred writings (also called the Holy Bible) that record the life, teachings, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Gospel
The good news of what the Loving Creator did on behalf of all human persons to reverse their hopeless condition and to provide for them His own Miracle Life. Mark 16:15- "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
Faith
Choosing to trust in the integrity of the Omnipotent One by accepting as true and dependable the words of instruction and promise that have been spoken. Hebrews 11:6 - "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
Cross
The place and method of the execution of Jesus Christ in the First Century and a sacred reminder of God’s love for all people. Colossians 1:20 - "And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven."
Conversion
The change that occurs when a person believes and responds to the Divine Initiative. Matthew 18:3 - "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."
Church
The spiritual community of all people who believe in Jesus Christ. Colossians 1:18 - "And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence."
church
A physical structure where people gather to worship, to learn and to have fellowship with others who believe in Jesus Christ.
Christian
One who has chosen to believe in the Person and the biblical claims of Jesus Christ.
Christ
The One promised by the ancient prophets who would come with the authority of the Omnipotent One to reunite human persons with their creator.
Blood
Represents the essence of the life of the Eternal Creator, poured out through Jesus Christ in sacrificial death, on behalf of humanity living under a spiritual death sentence from which only innocent blood could ransom. Colossians 1:14 - "In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins."
Bible

Believer
Anyone who has chosen to believe in the Person and the biblical claims of Jesus Christ.
